We go to church Sunday after Sunday.
We hear the message of the cross at Bible studies and conventions.
Most of us feel – the message of the cross is easily available – pick up any tract and you will get it.

But what of those who have not heard the message?

We go to church Sunday after Sunday.
We hear the message of the cross at Bible studies and conventions.
Most of us feel – the message of the cross is easily available – pick up any tract and you will get it.

But what of those who have not heard the message?

Right now our country houses the majority of unreached people groups.
Right now someone, somewhere, lives without hearing the message of hope.
A message of sins forgiven.
A promise of a life to come, untainted by poverty, violence, pain and confusion.
Right now, tucked away in the heart of this land, there are tribes and whole communities who have never had the privilege of meeting with Jesus.

Does that bother us? If we take the Bible seriously, shouldn’t it?

Do we even think of it? Or know it?

The Abrahamic blessing talks of God’s blessing to all the nations, to all the peoples. Revelation 7:9 speaks of a great multitude of people – so great they could not be counted. People from every nation, tribe and language standing before the throne and before the Lamb. A beautiful picture of God’s unfailing love for all the peoples of the earth.

God’s desire to reach out, touch and bless all people is very clear throughout the Bible.
But who does God use to do that? God wants to use you and me.
We are his disciples called to be the light in this world.
We are called to be His witnesses even to the remotest parts of the world.

How seriously do we take that commission?
When was the last time we witnessed for the Lord?
When was the last time we prayed, really prayed to the Lord of the Harvest
to send forth the Labourers ?

Have you seen yourself as being that labourer? What role do you have to play?
Ask the Lord of the Harvest. That’s the first step.
Leave it Him to lead, guide and empower you. He is faithful.
Just remember, it requires dedication and commitment on your part.

Have a heart for God. Have a heart for the nations.
Be His co-worker in bringing His blessing to all the nations of the earth.
